But if theydon’t sound perfect, the equalizer button on the back can adjust treble and bass and the Bongiovi DPS button, labeled with a circled B, can enhance the sound further. The sound is excellent, far more than one would expect from a typical alarmclock radio. That brings me to probably the best feature about the iA100. I could walk around with my phone in my pocket and still hear my music in full stereo. I was able to hear the person I was speaking with very easily, and they were able to hear me, even from several feet away.Īs if that isn’t enough, the Bluetooth signal can be used to transmit music, as well. The buttons on top can dim the display, quickly set the sleep mode, connect the clock radio to a cell phone or tune it to one of several programmable radio presets. You can see easily with one glance whether the wireless Bluetooth signal is on or if it the alarms are set. The iHome iA100 provides a bright LED display that shows the day and date or the current mode the device is using while keeping the time in large numbers across the top. It is made to work with an iPhone or an iPad but can work with many more products.Īn alarm clock radio doesn’t sound like the most glamorous Christmas gift, but think about it - who doesn't need a good alarm clock?
